Overview:

The objective of Rowan on the Record is to provide Rowan University and the surrounding communities with an alternative press venue. The publication’s mission includes endowing the public with a forum to voice concerns to empower the people, cultivate and strengthen cultural ties and to facilitate an open learning experience between the Greater Philadelphia Area and the Rowan constituency.

Rowan on the Record is for the people by the people, and is not exclusive to mere university events. The publication hopes to harbor readership with students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, and interested community residents.

Also, the Rowan on the Record staff encourages all aspiring young writers, editors and photographers to join the publication if interested.

Mission:

Future visions for the publication includes to procure enduring relationships between Rowan organizations, and to identify cultural and aesthetic experiences unique to the Greater Philadelphia Area. Moreover, Rowan on the Record hopes to establish a venue for engaging young adults in both political and economic policy that directly affects his or her life.
